EXPLORING PRINT TECHNIQUES

After a career as a Graphic Designer, the majority of which were spent self employed, I'm now returning to my first love of screen printing as well as enjoying exploring other print techniques.

In 2018 I completed a course in Screenprinting at Arts University Bournemouth to see if it was something I wanted to pursue again, and really enjoyed getting back into it.

Having completed the course the options were limited without the relevant equipment. I then discovered Poole Printmakers and their studio facilities.

Poole Printmakers has given me the opportunity to develop my screen printing skills to the extent that I now also take the lead on screen printing courses there.

I exhibit and sell my work at Poole Printmakers regular exhibitions. These include exhibitions at The Shelley Theatre and The Russell-Cotes Museum & Gallery in Bournemouth. Poole Printmakers studio, Poole Dolphin Centre and Durlston Country Park, Swanage, Dorset.

I have gone on to exhibit further afield at The Red House Museum in Christchurch, The Lighthouse Arts Centre in Poole and Atelier By The Sea in Brighton. I was also shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2024.
